Hartland, MI — The Hartland High School Girls Basketball Team is once again bringing the community together for a festive fall tradition — the Halloween Boo Dash 5K. The event will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Hartland Middle School – Ore Creek Turf Field (3250 Hartland Rd, Hartland, MI 48353). Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to join the fun and are encouraged to wear their best Halloween costumes for the race. The day will kick off with the Kids ½-Mile Dash at 10:00 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 10:30 a.m. Registration & Pricing • 5K Run/Walk: $25 before October 20 (with t-shirt guaranteed); $30 from October 21–26 (limited shirts); $40 on race day (online registration only, shirts while supplies last). • Kids ½-Mile Dash: $20 before October 20 (t-shirt guaranteed); $20 October 21–26 (limited shirts); $25 on race day (online registration only). • Family Pricing: Save $5 per person when registering three or more people for the 5K at the same time. Event Details • Packet Pickup: Race day beginning at 9:00 a.m. • Awards: Medals for 1st and 2nd place finishers in each male and female age group (12 & under, 13–17, 18–29, 30–39, and 40+). • Extras: A Halloween costume competition will be held during the event, and participants can also receive official race swag. T-shirts are available while supplies last, so early registration is encouraged. All proceeds from the event will directly support the Hartland Girls Basketball Team.
