Hartland, MI — Hartland Archery, home to multiple State, National, and World Championships, is now accepting registrations for its Fall 2025 Intro to Archery program. This course is designed for students in grades 4–12 who are new to the sport or have not been part of a Hartland Archery Tournament Team in the past season. The Fall Intro to Archery session will be held on September 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, and 18 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. in the Village Elementary School Gym. Participants will learn proper form, safety, and shooting techniques by the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) guidelines. All archers must shoot with a standard Mathews Genesis (bare bow), full-length Easton 1820 arrows, and 80 cm targets. The Hartland Youth Outdoors Club (HYOC) has rental bows and arrows available for a fee, or archers may bring their own equipment if it meets the above specifications. Completion of this session is required to be eligible for the 2025–26 Hartland Archery State Tournament Team tryouts in November. Space is limited, and the registration deadline is Tuesday, September 2. Late registrations may be accepted, subject to availability, with an additional fee. To register, visit the Hartland Youth Outdoors Club Facebook page or complete the online form here. For questions, email hartlandarchery@gmail.com.
