Hartland Athletics proudly recognizes Aidan Oake of the Hartland Boys Golf team as this week’s ChoiceOne Athlete of the Week. Oake delivered an exceptional week for the Eagles, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the prestigious Loop Classic at Forest Dunes. During the event, he fired a personal-best tournament round of 69 on the Loop’s Black Routing, helping Hartland post its lowest team score of the season with an impressive 300. He continued his strong play later in the week at Salem Hills, where he earned match medalist honors with a 39, leading the Eagles to a victory over Northville in their KLAA opener. Through the early portion of the season, Oake has established himself as Hartland’s scoring leader, averaging 74 in 18-hole events and 37 in 9-hole matches. His consistency, leadership, and ability to deliver under pressure have made him a major contributor to the Eagles’ success this spring.
