Hartland Athletics proudly recognizes Mallory Frantti of the Hartland Girls Soccer team as this week’s ChoiceOne Athlete of the Week. The freshman forward delivered an outstanding week for the Eagles, continuing to establish herself as one of the team’s top offensive threats. In Monday’s 2-0 victory over Okemos, Frantti recorded a goal and an assist, helping spark the Hartland attack. She followed that performance with an even bigger outing in the opening round of the KLAA Tournament against seventh-seeded Belleville, tallying two goals and an assist to lead the Eagles offensively. Already the team’s second-leading scorer, Frantti has made an immediate impact in her first varsity season with her playmaking ability, confidence, and scoring touch.
